![]() For people who have played Rocket League before, if you're noticing problems with other games too then there's a chance you have some kind of other hardware or software problem causing Rocket League to fail to launch. We advise you to look into your graphics card, CPU and internal temperatures to ensure there's no deeper hardware problem. Make sure your computer matches or is better than those requirements otherwise you won't be able to play it anyway. If you've never played Rocket League before then the first thing you need to do is check the system requirements. ![]() My issue now is when the game starts (every time btw) it'll ask what resolution you want to play in (along with other tabs for sound and whatnot) in my case there is no 1920x1080 so when I choose a 'close' resolution then play a while then quit to desktop it re-arranges all my desktop icons because they were in 1080p and the game was in some other s a real PITA to have to do that a lot as I have quite a few icons on my desktop and have em arranged to where I know where everything is.grrrr.Preliminary: Before Attempting these Methods Never had a game do that (seem hung on installing or preparing to install) the second go round (after the said folder was created) when I clicked on Download it then opened another window and worked normally like all the other downloads I've done on Origin. When I first tried to download Pacific Assault (in Origin) it seemed stuck so I 'X-ed' out and closed it out of the task bar too, then created that folder as mentioned, then ran it again in Origin and bingo it took. I have separate drives for gaming and my C:\ drive is on a SSD and only has my OS on it. I was able to get it to download by first creating a folder (hoping it would 'see' it and it did) in my case F:\ Program Files (86) then opened that (it was showing all my EA games btw) then creating a folder Medal of Honor Pacific Assault in that list of game folders, it was showing Battlefield 3, Battlefield 4, Need for Speed (TM) etc etc. If your download is stuck and no folder was created go to the folder in step 1 and create the folder eg Medal of Honor Pacific Assault (origin doesn't add special characters to there folder names so any special characters in game names are spaces and any existing spaces are spaces in the folder name) the only exception i have found to that is need for speed the folder name is Need for Speed(TM) Most Wanted with the trademark TM in brackets so if you have the problem with that game there is the folder name you create and them start the download and then follow steps above Resume the download and after origin verifies the game files (it will just say resuming for a long time) you will find the game will instantly skip to the installing stage Go back to the Origin Games folder and delete the Battlefield 4 folder and change Battlefield 41 back to Battlefield 4Ħ. As soon as the download starts pause the downloadĥ. ![]() Go to the origin client and click download it should now proceed to the normal steps then start downloadingĤ. Find the game you are trying to re install then rename that game for example from Battlefield 4 to Battlefield 41ģ. ![]() ![]() Go to your Program Files (X86) folder that has origin installed and go to the Origin games FolderĢ. Right click on the Origin Shortcut on your desktop (or where ever you have the software installed)įor People who DO have the files and have ether reinstalled Origin or have moved your Origin Games to a new location or Computer Follow the Steps Belowġ. I have found the solution to the problem the steps are as listedįor People that DO NOT already have the game files but cannot Download Follow Belowģ. ![]()
